My name is Patricia Brown.  I am married
to Steve and we have three children, Jason
(who is married to Amy, two children Zachary
and Dakota), Scott,who teaches special
education and is the head pitching coach at
Louisburg College, and Candice, who is a
pharmacy tech and is still soul searching
for some direction in her life.

We live in the country east of Rocky Mount,
NC.  We have 5 pot bellied pigs who *think*
they pretty much run things around here.
They are Dallas(5), Raleigh(3), Wilson(7),
Bailey(2), and Ola(1)
in the world.  We have a dachshund, Newton
who is 13 and we just recently lost Fig who
was Newton's wife for 12 years.  Cooper is
our Giant Flemish rabbit who was given to me
by our lovely friend Nancy Crusan in Florida.
He's perfectly beautiful and terribly smart.
Hattie is our guinea pig who is also very
beautiful and smart.  D, our Chinese Pug is
a different story.  D is the ruler, king,
czar and monarch of the Brown family.  D,
full of personality and charm, is a climber
and can reach heights of great proportion
such as the top of the kitchen table, the
stove, the washing machine....while only
being 12 inches in height.  He loves to sit
on top of my computer monitor to assure that
things go as he thinks they should. D was a
gift from my friend, Dee, who lives in
Tennessee.  We are currently in the process
of buying a horse which I'm very excited about.
I am also going to be the proud mom of an iguana
(or two) that I'm going to pick up in Florida
in the next few weeks.

My interests include music, reading, gardening
(when the temp. is less than 78 degrees) and
animals.  I have degrees in Business and Criminal
Justice but am currently the owner of a beauty
salon and an antiques business.  I'm about halfway
through a degree in psychology and my dream is to
finish that course of work in the next couple of
years. Steve enjoys fishing and sports when time
allows. He is a long distance truck driver and has
limited free time.

Swinesong is a very important aspect of my life
as I have made many friends through the list
who will be in my life forever.  I have had the
most fortunate opportunity of meeting many Swiners
in person and traveling cross country to spend time
with my list buddies is a priority.
