I have been married to William for 11 years and we have 5 children;
Charles(28), Cassi(25), Michael(26), Gregory(24), and Letitia(20).
We live in West Texas on 200 acres, about 50 miles from the nearest city.  William teaches accounting and business law at American Commercial College in Abilene and I'm a stay at home pig mom.

The pigs who own me are... Rosey, Boots, Babe, Lucky, Squealer, Clyde Barrow, Bonnie, PeeWee, Pretty Boy Floyd, Jesse James,
Calamity Jane, Sam, Gabby, Herbert, Bert, Ernie, Gertrude,...
and the rest of the Texas Outlaw gang.

Other pets that I have are... Stinky(mutt,age unknown) who we found on the highway in 1995.  She was covered with mange, and almost starved.
Dufus (Brittany spaniel,about 4mos. old), also found on the highway.
Grand Master B, cat(7), R.J.,cat(6), RC(ranch cat)(7), Tilly, turkey (2), Birdbrain, guinea(3 mos.)

We also have 2 geese, 3 ducks and 5 chickens.

Two years ago, we really had a surprise. Clyde and Boots were really overweight so I decided to try the oatmeal diet I had heard about on the list.  The next evening all the pigs had settled around the wood stove for the night with Boots in her usual spot in the back.  William and I were watching TV when we heard an odd "squeek".
We started looking and found that Boots was having piglets!  And I just thought she was fat!  Nope 12 piglets!  Pigture below.

I was born and raised in this area, but during 10 years as a Navy wife, I also lived in Brunswick, Georgia, Norfolk, Virginia and Key West,Florida.
I love to garden and have loved animals all my life, raising all kinds on bottles including raccoon, opossums, squirrels, lambs, goats, calves, pigs, etc. etc. etc.  I am a lousy housekeeper, but I am considered a wonderful cook. I used to do ceramics and still have 2 kilns, but since moving on to the ranch in May of this year(2000), haven't gotten to it yet..

I discovered computing 2 years ago after I finally gave in and let hubby buy one. (He still wants one!)

I have only met 4 swiners; Shelly(Carolina) Brown, Pam Kojis, Claudia Busby, & Brandon Cantrell.  I have talked on the phone with Cindy Cole, Tom Caughlin, Kristy Evans, & Theresa Renfrow..
