I'm Bettyb and I live in Tazewell, Tn. with my
husband, Colin, who I have been married to for
a glorious 36 years:)

We have four grown children:
Two daughters, Tika (36), a farmer's wife (REALLY!)
and Tia (32), who is married to a dentist/minister.
Two sons, Darin (34), who works in plumbing and
heating, and Todd (33), who works in a coal mine.

I have two pigs;
Ms. Katie (10/96) is an inside(basement) pig, that
is not fully convinced that she IS a pig.
Babe (age unknown) was given to me this summer.
She is a full fledged piggie who just loves to play
in her own little mud-hole.  She was raised as an
outside piggie, but we may have to debate that come
wintertime.

The other pets I have are:
3 outside dogs; Nick, a Chow min, Rufus, is just Rufus, and Cooper, a Redtick Hound.
1 inside dog; Pug, a pug
1 horse; Zeb (ain't that just a god awful name?)
1 cat; Fedder, himilayan, who is getting pretty old.
Birds; Agee, my hand fed, 15 month old African Grey     Parrot, Edna and Mouth, a pair of cockatiels.
Pigeons and last but NOT least my husband's
loveable chickens.....lots and lots of them:(

I have always been an animal lover so after having
four kids in 4 yrs. and 2 mos. and they 'finally'
grew up and left home, I just had to have something to
mother, so I started collectin' animals again.

I love fishin' and I'm lucky enough to have the Clinch
River right in front of my house. Love to catch those
small mouth Bass!!

I have been on SS about 18 months now, and don't know
what I did before them!  Other Swiiners I have met in
person are; Barb aka toebarb (She & I were probably on
the Ark together.  We have been friends, no more like
'sisters' for that many years.  We have 'courted' together, raised our kids together, been through some pretty rough times too, but we always seem to do better as a pair, I reckon:) ).
I have also met; Pat, Barb & Papa, Dee, Stef, Steph, NancyC, NancyB, Lana, Chelle, Janie, Lynne, Jodi, Peggy, Shelly, Teresa, Angela, Sherry, that 'handsome' Tom and this weekend Colin Nichols will be comin' for a visit!!  If I left out anyone...I'm sorry... I have an excuse for my bad memory..
I'm the grandmother of 12!!!!
